Embed code (free edition)

<iframe src="https://ordkroken.se/wordhook?embed=1" title="Wordhook – today's word game" allow="clipboard-write; web-share" style="width:100%;max-width:560px;height:min(760px,100svh);border:0" loading="lazy"></iframe>

The free code shows Wordhook with our branding. A licence gives you a personal code: your name, colours and theme, only on your domains, with shares that lead to your own game page.

Questions

How do we embed the game?

With one iframe tag in an HTML block — it works in every common CMS and in app web views. Licensed papers get a personal code with their partner ID; we manage name, colour and theme centrally, so you never change the code.

How does the licence work?

It covers your own domains and apps, and the game can only be shown there. After the term it keeps working for 14 days; then the free edition with our branding appears, so your page never breaks.

Do readers need to log in?

No. Readers start playing straight away. Streaks and stats are stored in their browser.

Is it British or American English?

Both. Every word is spelled the same on both sides of the Atlantic, so the puzzle works for US, UK, Irish, Canadian, Australian and Indian readers.

What does a pilot cost?

Nothing. We run 30 days together with both games and measure how often readers come back. Your chosen tier then starts unless you say no before the pilot ends.

Can we sell ads around the game?

Yes. The game has a sponsor line on the result card and sponsored word packs you can resell.

Is there a Spanish version?

Yes: Gancho, with its own hand-curated Spanish bank for Spain and Latin America — and Ordkroken in Swedish.
