How to play

Find the word that fits every part, so that each one makes an everyday English word. The hardest words have only three parts.

  • The tiles show how long the word is and whether it goes before or after each part.
  • Three tries per word. Letters in the right place lock in.
  • Fast answers and flawless words in a row earn bonus points and combos.
  • 5 new words every day – the same for everyone. Build your streak!

A gap between a part and the tiles means two separate words, like ICE CREAM.

How scoring works

A correct word scores 100 points. Answer within 10 seconds for a +100 speed bonus, which fades to 0 at two minutes. Right on the first try adds +50. Each miss costs 25 and each hint 35, but a solved word always scores at least 20. Flawless words in a row build a combo: ×1.5, ×2, ×2.5 and at most ×3.

In Blitz you have 60 seconds. Correct words add time, and the more words in a row, the higher the combo – up to ×5.
